The group will run for 8 weeks on Tuesdays from 5:00-6:15 with 2 co-therapists. The model is psycho-educational with a focus on skill development, including a 15 minute parent information session at the end of each group. The fee is $320.00 which includes a pre-screening, 8 sessions, and a post meeting with parents. All sessions are held at 8 Harris Street, Newburyport. Please contact 978-499-9940

New England Dyslexia Solutions of Newburyport, MA has started up a new support group specifically for parents of children with dyslexia and learning disabilities. Karen LoGiudice, an Amesbury resident, is seeking local parents who are interested in meeting others who are in similar situations – to share stories, vent frustrations, and better understand the learning challenges and styles of their kids.
Held on the FIRST MONDAY of every month, this informal and friendly group will provide support and insights for families who are struggling with learning disabilities. Coffee and cookies will be available!
